Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how mooie ("the Site", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit mooie.dev. We aim to collect as little as possible — most of the Site's tools run entirely in your browser.

Information we collect

• Usage & device information. If you accept analytics cookies (see below), Google Analytics collects standard information about your visit — browser type, approximate location, time zone, pages viewed, and similar device data. If you decline, we don't load analytics.
• Contact form. When you use the contact form we collect the name, email address, and message you provide, so we can read and reply.
• Account information. For the small number of features that require signing in, we store your email address and username. Sign-in uses email "magic links" and/or passkeys; for passkeys we store a public key and credential metadata — never a password.
• Security logs. For sign-in and administrative actions we record an audit entry that may include your IP address, browser user-agent, the action taken, and a timestamp. We use this to protect the Site against abuse and to investigate security issues.
• Tool inputs. Many tools (image, PDF, and print utilities) process your files entirely in your browser — they are never uploaded to us. Some tools that need server-side processing (for example, AI-assisted text and image tools) send your input to perform the task; we don't retain that input beyond what's needed to return your result.

Cookies & analytics

We use a cookie-consent banner to let you choose whether analytics cookies are set. Google Analytics loads only after you opt in. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Essential cookies needed for the Site to function (for example, to keep you signed in) are always set.

How we use information

To operate and secure the Site, authenticate sign-ins, respond to your messages, and understand aggregate usage so we can improve the tools. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers we share with

We rely on a few third parties to run the Site, and share only what each needs to do its job:

• Google Analytics — usage analytics (only with your consent). See Google's privacy policy.
• Postmark — delivering transactional email such as sign-in links and contact-form replies.
• Cloudflare — content delivery, security, and file storage for features that store files.
• Render — application and database hosting.

Data retention

We keep account and security-log data while your account is active and as needed for security and legal purposes, and contact messages for as long as needed to respond. Analytics data is retained under Google Analytics' own retention settings.

Your choices

You can decline or revoke analytics consent at any time via "Cookie settings". To access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, please contact us.

Do Not Track

Because we only load analytics after explicit consent, we treat declining the cookie banner as your tracking preference. We do not separately respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
